Rabat, Morocco – The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs called on Tuesday upon all citizens to exercise caution regarding circulating advertisements claiming to facilitate the acquisition of Hajj visas.
In an official statement, the Ministry emphasized that performing the Hajj pilgrimage requires obtaining an official Hajj visa through the electronic platform designated by the competent Saudi authorities, within the quota allocated to the Kingdom of Morocco. The Ministry clarified that obtaining this visa is done either through the official Hajj organization or through accredited travel agencies.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs strongly urged citizens to be vigilant and pay attention to suspicious advertisements circulating on this subject. It stressed that any other type of visa, whether for tourism, visit, or any other purpose, does not grant the right to perform the Hajj rituals, nor does it enable its holder to obtain the necessary “Nusk” cards, which only allow their holders to perform the pilgrimage.
This warning from the Ministry comes out of its concern for the safety of citizens and its desire to protect them from falling victim to scams and fraud that may exploit their desire to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
