As part of efforts to boost development in the province of Moulay Yacoub, the Regional Committee of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) held a meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2025, chaired by the provincial governor, Mohamed Samir Khamlouchi. During this session, the committee approved 35 development projects with a total budget of 17,488,000 dirhams.
These projects aim to improve citizens’ living conditions and enhance their economic and social integration. They are divided into three main programs, focusing on:
- Facilitating access to existing projects and strengthening human capital.
- Enhancing social welfare institutions, improving reception quality, and ensuring the sustainability of social centers.
- Supporting education in rural areas, encouraging youth engagement, and improving maternal and child health services.
Governor Khamlouchi praised the efforts of local stakeholders in implementing INDH projects and urged continued collective action to bring these initiatives to life. He emphasized the importance of encouraging students and youth to develop innovation and digital skills. Additionally, he stressed the need to improve services at the Haj Abdelhadi Tajmouti Elderly Care Center, ensuring it meets the expectations of its beneficiaries.
