The Royal Gendarmerie of Boudarbala, part of the El Hajeb squad, managed on Wednesday to arrest the main supplier of installment drug dealers, in front of the Belad El Kheir market in the Ait Ahmad neighborhood, and was caught in possession of an important quantity of narcotic substances, according to local sources.
According to local sources, the 64-year-old, who hails from Taounate, was traveling between Taounate and Boudarbala via Fez, where he supplies dealers with drugs, and his search resulted in the seizure of 2 kilograms of Shira, 3 kilograms of kif powder, 1 kilogram of Taba powder, in addition to an important amount of money.
In another operation, last Tuesday, the security services arrested a 32-year-old man at the Ain El Jawi cemetery in the Ait Ahmad neighborhood, in possession of 200 grams of hashish, which he intended to sell in the area.
The two suspects were taken into custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, pending their presentation to the court in Meknes.
