Theft of a “Moto” Motorcycle in the Al-Azhar Neighborhood in Fez

Fez, [Date] — A resident of the Al-Azhar neighborhood in Fez fell victim to the theft of his black “Moto” motorcycle in the early hours of yesterday, Saturday. The incident occurred at 2:00 AM inside the Iqamat Al-Nour residence on Derb Al-Mashmash, where the thief infiltrated the garage through a small gate and cut the iron chains securing the motorcycle to a metal bar.

According to the motorcycle owner’s testimony, the theft was carried out swiftly, with the thief managing to access the motorcycle and remove the restraints quickly before fleeing with it. The victim immediately filed a complaint at the National Security office in the Second District, where the necessary report was registered, and an investigation into the case was opened.

Following the complaint, officers from the Sixth District moved to the scene to conduct a field inspection and gather evidence that could help identify the thief. Security efforts are still ongoing to locate the perpetrator and recover the stolen motorcycle.

The victim confirmed that the motorcycle was securely locked with iron chains, but the thief managed to overcome them using specialized tools. He expressed hope that the security authorities would apprehend the thief as soon as possible.

This incident comes amid the ongoing efforts by security authorities to combat crime and protect citizens’ property. Residents of the neighborhood have called for enhanced security measures in the area, especially during nighttime hours, to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
