The Moroccan national rugby sevens team qualified for the final of the 10th Arab Championship, held in Alexandria, after defeating the Egyptian team 28-14 in the semi-final on Saturday.
In the final, the national team will face its Emirati counterpart, which eliminated Libya with a score of 17-10. Morocco, the defending champion and four-time winner of the tournament, secured its spot in the semi-finals after finishing at the top of Group A by defeating Palestine (45-0), Libya (45-5), and Saudi Arabia (36-5).
The Arab Rugby Sevens Championship is taking place from February 13 to 15, featuring nine national teams divided into two groups. The Moroccan team aims to retain its title and win the championship for the fifth time in its history.
