Fes News attended the opening of the 2025 judicial year, organized by the Court of Appeal in Fes on Wednesday. The event featured the launch of “Open Days,” which will continue until Thursday, with the aim of enhancing communication between the judiciary and the community while promoting the values of transparency and justice.
The opening session was chaired by the President of the Court of Appeal, Mr. Idriss Cherfi, who delivered a speech reviewing the achievements of the previous judicial year, 2024.
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal, the Public Prosecutor at the First Instance Court, along with key judicial and security personalities. Among them were the Wali of the Fes-Meknes region, Mr. Mohaed El Jamai, as well as regional governors, the Police Chief of Fes, the Regional Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the President of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fes, deans of faculties, and heads of judicial bodies.
In his speech, Mr. Idriss Cherfi emphasized the importance of presenting the annual judicial report, highlighting the efforts made by various parties to improve the functioning of justice and to enhance public trust in judicial institutions.
This event is considered one of the most significant in the judicial field, aiming to foster communication among all parties involved in the justice system and providing an opportunity for direct interaction with citizens and stakeholders through activities accompanying the open days.
