The Moghreb Athlétic de Fès (MAS) football team succeeded in securing its third consecutive victory today, Sunday, by defeating its guest Moghreb Tétouan with a score of 2-1, in the 18th round of the Botola Pro.
MAS ended the first half leading with two goals scored by Achraf Hrmach and Hamza El Janati in the 20th and 30th minutes, while Moghreb Tétouan’s Mohamed Faqih managed to score in the 25th minute.
The second half saw numerous attempts, particularly from Moghreb Tétouan, whose new coach Mohamed Benchrifa made several changes to invigorate the attack, but to no avail. Meanwhile, MAS coach Akram Romani aimed to maintain the lead, and the match concluded with a 2-1 victory for MAS.
With this win, MAS temporarily climbed to third place in the overall standings of the Botola Pro with 31 points, while Moghreb Tétouan’s points remained stagnant at ten, placing them second to last.
