Health and Social Protection Delegation in El Hajeb Organizes Training on National Vaccination Program

The Regional Delegation of Health and Social Protection in El Hajeb, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection for the Fes-Meknes region, organized a training session focused on the National Immunization Program and the importance of vaccinations against targeted diseases. The session took place at the Continuous Training Hall of the delegation, as part of the national catch-up vaccination campaign aimed at improving vaccination coverage for children under the age of 18.

The event was led by the Regional Health and Social Protection Delegate, the Head of the Health Institutions Network Service, and the person in charge of the National Immunization Program at the regional level. A total of 54 participants attended the training, with a focus on raising awareness among workers about the need to follow up with children who have not completed their vaccinations, to protect them from dangerous diseases such as measles, polio, tetanus, whooping cough, and diphtheria.

In his speech during the meeting, the Regional Delegate emphasized the importance of joint efforts between all relevant stakeholders to enhance vaccination initiatives. He also called for strengthening the role of mobile health units and expanding awareness campaigns in remote areas, in close coordination with local authorities and civil society organizations, to ensure that vaccination awareness reaches all families and meets national immunization goals.
