Health and Well-Being in Schools: Anti-Bullying Campaign in Ifrane

From December 23 to 28, 2024, under the theme “Health and Well-Being in Schools: No to Violence, No to Bullying,” the regional health and social protection delegation in Ifrane, in coordination with the regional directorate of National Education, Pre-School Education, and Sports, organized an awareness and sensitization campaign on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

The initiative, which took place at a critical point in the academic year, received a great response from students, who expressed their appreciation for the campaign aimed at promoting positive values within educational institutions and creating a school environment free from violence and bullying.

This campaign is particularly significant given the profound negative effects bullying has on students’ academic and psychological lives. Bullying directly impacts children’s mental and physical health, contributing to the deterioration of academic performance and social relationships among students. Therefore, eliminating bullying requires effective cooperation between families, educational institutions, and the local community to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all.

Through this initiative, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of bullying and provide a school environment that respects children’s rights to education and health, free from harmful practices that hinder their proper development.
