In a heartbreaking incident that shook the Oulad Tayeb community in Douar Fnideq, the lifeless bodies of two young men were discovered inside a house on January 1, 2025, following their mysterious disappearance for several days.
According to informed sources, the tragic events began when a neighbor noticed a motorcycle parked in front of the house for four consecutive days without any sign of movement or activity from the young men. This raised suspicions and prompted the neighbor to alert local authorities.
At approximately noon, members of the Royal Gendarmerie arrived at the scene and inspected the premises, only to find the two men deceased inside the house.
Following instructions from the public prosecutor, the bodies were transferred to the morgue for an autopsy. The medical examination confirmed that the cause of death was asphyxiation due to a gas heater leak, resulting from gas buildup inside the home.
This tragic incident serves as a sobering reminder of the dangers associated with gas leaks and the critical importance of proper ventilation and safety measures in households.
