Street Vendors Protest in Fes Calling for Better Work Conditions

On Monday, December 30, 2024, a group of street vendors staged a protest on Mohammed V Street in Fes, near the BMCE Bank. The protesters called for the implementation of a social approach that addresses their demands, particularly the establishment of a model market in a suitable location that would allow them to work in proper conditions.

The demonstrators raised slogans criticizing the delay in executing initiatives that had previously been announced. They emphasized that these promises have not yet been fulfilled. The protesters also expressed their frustration with the neglect of a royal project that was supposed to improve their living conditions.

The protest served as a clear call for local authorities to urgently find practical solutions to their concerns and create an organized working environment that ensures their dignity and reduces the daily challenges they face.
