In line with the implementation of Ministerial Circular No. 290-24 issued on December 9, 2024, and in harmony with the strategic objectives of the 2022-2026 Roadmap, the Directorate of National Education in Moulay Yacoub province held two communication meetings on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The first meeting was with the principals of leading primary schools, and the second with their counterparts in middle and high schools. The meetings were attended by the Regional Director, department heads, and inspection and educational supervision staff.
The meetings began with an opening speech by the Regional Director, who addressed the general context and the guidelines for the annual school census process, emphasizing its significance as a key component of educational planning and a cornerstone for measuring the achievement of strategic goals outlined in the 2022-2026 Roadmap.
During the meeting, the Head of the Planning and School Mapping Department presented a comprehensive overview, focusing on the role of the school census in providing accurate data for planning and decision-making. He explained that the census serves as the official and reliable source of educational statistics and indicators used by the Ministry. The presentation also highlighted the importance of this data in enhancing transparency and identifying priorities for improving the quality of education.
In this context, the Directorate announced that two additional meetings would be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, to expand communication efforts with other primary schools, reflecting the Directorate’s commitment to ensuring the success and inclusivity of the process.
