Community Sources in Sidi Harazem Demand Their Share of the Development Budget Linked to the 2030 World Cup

Community sources from the Sidi Harazem municipality have called on the responsible authorities to allocate a portion of the development budget associated with preparations for the 2030 World Cup, emphasizing that this global event represents an opportunity to accelerate local development and achieve vital projects that have long been awaited.

The associations pointed out that the municipality suffers from a significant lack of infrastructure and basic services, making it imperative to benefit from projects related to this global event, which will contribute to enhancing the region’s image and boosting its role in tourism and economic development.

The associations stated that equitable distribution of the development budget among the municipalities in the Fes-Meknes region is essential for achieving developmental integration in the area, with a focus on implementing sustainable projects that serve the local population in the long term.

While awaiting a response from the authorities to these demands, the associations express their hope that the 2030 World Cup will serve as a genuine starting point for improving living conditions and infrastructure in the Sidi Harazem municipality.
