A protest letter from Karim Amzouai, President of Al-Anwar Sports Association for Football in Fez, to the President of the Regional Football League of Fez-Meknes, has stirred significant controversy. The letter, dated November 22, 2024, addresses an unexpected change to the group allocations in the Women’s Regional Football League draw.
According to the letter, the association was shocked by alterations to the competitive groups without prior notification. Amzouai explained that the association received an email detailing the changes, which were neither discussed nor communicated beforehand, causing dissatisfaction within the organization.
The president demanded a return to the original draw results, conducted live, and adherence to the previously agreed-upon groupings. He emphasized the importance of transparency and compliance with organizational rules to ensure fairness in the competition.
