The Fes-Meknes Regional Authority has announced the opening of candidacy submissions for partial elections to fill two vacant seats in the Oulad Tayeb Municipal Council, located in the eighth and eleventh electoral districts. These seats are designated for women, in accordance with the applicable laws.
According to a statement issued by the authority, candidacy applications will be accepted at the Oulad Tayeb Municipality office from Friday, November 15, 2024, until 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The nomination office will remain open during regular working hours, including holidays, in compliance with Interior Ministerial Decision No. 2571.24, dated November 1, 2024.
These partial elections aim to fill the vacancies in the Oulad Tayeb Municipal Council, ensuring the continuity of local governance and compliance with gender representation requirements as per the relevant regulations.
