In the third round of the National Basketball Championship (Premier Division), Morocco Fes basketball team claimed a decisive victory over Tafahet Midelt with a score of 93 to 44, showcasing their strength and dominance in the premier league.
This marks the Tigers’ second win following their initial victory over Tan-Tan, although they faced a setback against FAR Rabat in the second round.
The team is now gearing up for an important fourth-round match against Essaouira.
The game was met with enthusiastic support from Fes fans, particularly the “Fatal Tigers” fan group, who also celebrated Morocco Fes’ U14 team’s remarkable achievement of securing second place in the national championship a notable accomplishment for the youth divisions.
In an exclusive statement, Club President Mr. Hamza Jassous expressed his delight at the strong synergy between the players and the positive results they’ve achieved.
He praised the supportive fans, acknowledging their role as a key pillar for the team.
He added that a current challenge is the unavailability of the January 11 Hall due to maintenance work, forcing the team to seek alternative venues that meet the required standards for hosting games and practices.
