In celebration of the Green March anniversary, the Iqsabi Academy organized a women’s football tournament for the under-15 and under-17 age categories, featuring teams from Nasr Fassi and Olympique des Merinides, along with the host team, Iqsabi Academy.
The tournament was graced by the presence of Fathallah Lghiyati, a star player from the Moroccan team and national squad, alongside several parents of the participating players.
This tournament is part of the teams’ preparations for upcoming challenges, enhancing the level of women’s teams and increasing enthusiasm and competitiveness among the players.
In a statement from one of the mothers, she highlighted the importance of such events in boosting the skills of young female players, expressing pride in the progress of women’s football at both the national and regional levels.
This sporting event reflects the spirit of celebrating the Green March anniversary and supports the promotion of women’s sports in Morocco, providing an opportunity for experience exchange and encouraging young talents to develop.
