The Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection in Ifrane is organizing an awareness day for early detection of breast and cervical cancer on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Level Two Rural Health Center in Hanache.
This initiative comes as part of “Pink October” activities and the national campaign for early detection of breast and cervical cancer, launched by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection during the period from October 1 to 31, 2024.
This year’s campaign carries the slogan “Your Check-up Now is Safety and Peace of Mind… Don’t Hesitate,” and is being held under the supervision of the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Fez-Meknes region, in coordination with local authorities.
The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast and cervical cancer, and to encourage women to undergo regular screenings for the prevention of these diseases.
