The Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection in Moulay Yacoub organized an awareness day for early detection of breast and cervical cancer on Monday, October 21, 2024. The event took place at the Reference Center for Reproductive Health in Ain Chkef, as part of the “Pink October” activities and the national campaign for early detection of these two types of cancer.
This initiative comes within the framework of the national campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, which runs from October 1 to 31, 2024, under the slogan “Your check-up now is safety and reassurance… Don’t hesitate.” The event was organized in partnership with the Mashal Al-Jiha Association for Development, under the supervision of the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Fez-Meknes region, and in coordination with local authorities.
The event achieved notable success, as shown in the following table:

This initiative reflects the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to promote health awareness and encourage early detection of cancers, which contributes to improving treatment opportunities and increasing recovery rates among Moroccan women.
