Fez – The Fez City Council has announced significant financial support for a large number of sports and social associations in the city, in a move aimed at promoting sports activities and social services, and improving the quality of life for citizens.
According to the official document issued by the council, the support was distributed as follows:
- Sports Associations:
- 52 sports associations were supported, mostly in the field of football.
- The support ranged from 10,000 to 40,000 dirhams for small and medium-sized sports associations.
- Some associations received larger support, such as the Fez Athletic Association for Marathon, which received 400,000 dirhams.
- The Executive Office of Fez Moroccan Associations received the largest support of 1,000,000 dirhams.
- Social Associations:
- Substantial support of 500,000 dirhams was allocated to the Nour Association for Children with Autism.
- Specialized Associations:
- The Fez League for Athletics received support of 120,000 dirhams.
- The Victory Association for Rugby received support of 150,000 dirhams.
A responsible source in the city council stated that this support comes within the framework of the council’s strategy to encourage sports and social work in Fez. He added, “We believe in the importance of supporting these associations for their effective role in community development and promoting sportsmanship and social solidarity.”
This support is expected to contribute to improving sports infrastructure, developing social programs, and enhancing youth participation in sports and community activities in the city of Fez.
