Mohamed El Moutawakil, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Maghreb Fes Sports Club, has resigned from his position after being appointed as the General Secretary of the Maghreb Fes Football Association, a single-sport organization.
This decision comes in compliance with regulations prohibiting the holding of multiple roles simultaneously.
Following the approval of the financial report at the recent General Assembly, the Board of Directors is now required to either hold an extraordinary General Assembly to appoint a new treasurer or assign the task to the vice-treasurer.
However, the Board continues to face significant challenges, particularly the lack of tangible solutions to support the club’s financially struggling branches.
This raises concerns about whether the members can rescue the club or if personal interests and clinging to positions dominate the sports scene.
