A citizen fell victim to a snatch theft in a new incident adding to the series of crimes recently witnessed in the city of Fez. The incident occurred in the Sidi El Hadi Zouagha district, where two individuals on a motorcycle snatched the victim’s bag and fled the scene.
According to preliminary details of the incident, the stolen bag contained valuable possessions, including a high-end mobile phone, as well as important documents including car registration papers and keys. The bag also contained a sum of money estimated at 3,600 dirhams.
This incident comes amid growing concerns among residents about the rise of snatch theft phenomenon in the city, especially those carried out using motorcycles, which calls for intensified security efforts to curb this phenomenon and ensure citizens’ safety.
The perpetrators have not yet been identified, while security authorities continue their investigation to apprehend those involved in this crime.
