As part of the partnership and cooperation between the Local Religious Council of Moulay Yacoub Province and Ras El Ma Prison in Fes, and in coordination with the Regional Delegation for Islamic Affairs, the prison organized a religious celebration on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, corresponding to Rabi’ al-Awwal 14, 1446, to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday.
Members of the Local Religious Council participated in the event by delivering valuable speeches that highlighted the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), along with performances of traditional religious songs and praise.
The event concluded with prayers for His Majesty King Mohammed VI, wishing him victory and success.
This celebration is part of the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration’s efforts to commemorate national and religious occasions in prisons, fostering a sense of national and religious identity among inmates and promoting their reintegration into society.
