On Monday, the Regional Academy for Education and Training of the Fes-Meknes region held a press conference at its center in Fes to discuss the latest developments for the 2024/2025 academic year. The event highlighted significant updates concerning the new school year, with a number of regional directors in attendance.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Fouad El-Rawadi, Director of the Academy, who reviewed the key achievements of the past academic year. He also presented a detailed overview of the anticipated changes for the current school year, including the launch of the “Leading Schools” project. This initiative will involve 30 secondary schools across the region, aiming to enhance educational quality and school performance.
Mr. El-Rawadi supported his presentation with a video capsule illustrating the Academy’s efforts to expand educational offerings, including early childhood education and the three educational stages. Among the announced updates were:
- The establishment of 26 new educational institutions and 12 boarding schools to meet student needs and improve educational infrastructure.
- Renovation of 250 classrooms across various provinces to enhance learning conditions.
- Expansion of the “School for All” program to ensure equitable access to education for all groups.
