The Moroccan Coalition for Supporting Palestine organized a solidarity stand last Saturday in Florence Square in the city of Fez, as part of the ongoing weekly movement in various Moroccan cities in support of the Palestinian cause and in condemnation of the repeated Israeli aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The stand witnessed a notable presence of Moroccan citizens from various age groups in the historic city of Fez. Participants gathered holding a large banner that read: “The Moroccan Coalition for Supporting Palestine stands with the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.”
The event was distinguished by the recitation of a poem by Professor Aziza Alaoui, which added a cultural and artistic dimension to the solidarity stand, expressing the depth of Moroccan solidarity with the Palestinian cause in Fez, a city known for its cultural and scholarly heritage.
This stand comes as part of a series of events organized weekly by the Moroccan Coalition for Supporting Palestine in various Moroccan cities, including Fez. The aim is to keep the Palestinian cause present in Moroccan public consciousness and to express the Moroccan people’s rejection of Israeli practices against Palestinians.
Participants in the Fez stand expressed their absolute solidarity with the Palestinian people, emphasizing the necessity of stopping the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and supporting the Palestinians’ right to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
It is worth noting that these solidarity stands in Fez and other Moroccan cities reflect the Moroccan popular stance in support of the Palestinian cause and confirm the continuation of Moroccan solidarity with Palestine despite regional and international challenges.
