In an unexpected incident, a doctor discovered worms in the dish served to him at a famous restaurant in the Fez community, Saiss district, causing his dismay and shock. The doctor recounts the story to Fez News, saying it began when he ordered his usual meal at the restaurant known for its high quality according to social media advertisements. However, he was surprised to find worms in the food.
When he called the waiter to inspect the health disaster, the waiter took the plate but did not return with it, causing more concern and frustration for the doctor. Eventually, the doctor decided to leave the restaurant after paying the bill for the meal he did not eat, in a very low psychological state.
In his call with Fez News, the doctor questioned the absence of minimal health control conditions in restaurants in general, especially in famous restaurants that are supposed to have strict quality and cleanliness standards. The doctor adds that this incident highlights the need to strengthen health control and inspection in restaurants to ensure safe and healthy food is provided to consumers. It’s worth noting that an employee of the Fez community confirmed that proper monitoring is impossible in the absence of sufficient human resources.
