Amidst a severe heat wave sweeping across Morocco, the city of Outat El Haj, located in the northeastern part of the kingdom, has experienced a sharp rise in temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius (113°F). Despite these harsh climatic conditions, daily life in the city has not come to a standstill.
Our local correspondent reports that the city streets remain bustling with activity, as residents continue their daily routines, defying the high temperatures. It appears that the people of Outat El Haj have developed coping mechanisms for these difficult weather conditions.
One local resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, said: “We are used to high temperatures, but this year the situation is exceptional. Nevertheless, we cannot stop working or running our errands.”
