As part of ongoing efforts to improve and expand educational services in the Fez-Meknes region, the Director of the Regional Academy for Education and Training conducted an inspection visit to the construction site of a new secondary school in the rural commune of Wad Al-Juma’a in Taounate province.
This visit comes in the context of implementing the 2022-2026 roadmap, which aims to enhance and improve educational offerings in the area. The project includes the establishment of an integrated educational complex comprising a secondary school and boarding facilities, which will significantly contribute to improving the quality of education in the rural community.
The project is expected to play a crucial role in addressing the issue of school dropouts in the area by providing better and more accessible educational opportunities for students in rural areas.
Academy officials emphasized that this project is an important step towards achieving the Ministry’s goals of providing quality and inclusive education for all students, regardless of their geographical location.
The new secondary school is scheduled to be completed in time to welcome students in the upcoming academic year, marking a qualitative addition to the educational infrastructure in the Fez-Meknes region.
This development underscores the commitment of educational authorities to expand and improve schooling options across the region, particularly in rural areas where access to quality education has historically been challenging.
