Following up on the newspaper’s previous publication regarding the hearing of a professor at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah University in Fez by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Fez, in accordance with Article 447 of the Moroccan Criminal Code, on suspicion of defamation, the available data, after careful research, showed that the posts published by the professor at the Arts and Humanities by Abdullah Al-Hilali, did not contain any insult, slander, defamation, takfir or false accusation of any party, according to a well-informed source.
On May 2, the newspaper published an article titled: “Criminal scandal shakes Fez University, leading to the prosecution of a member of the local scientific council in Safrou and a leader of the Justice and Charity group before the judiciary” regarding the suspicion of defamation, which, after research and scrutiny, it turned out that Professor “Al-Hilali” is far from it.
