The Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Fez-Meknes region signs performance efficiency contracts with the regional directorates

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the headquarters of the Regional Directorate of El Hajeb, the Director of the Regional Academy for Education and Training of the Fez-Meknes region chaired the signing ceremony of performance efficiency contracts related to the implementation of the objectives and commitments of the road map with the regional directorates.
The contractual approach is considered an essential input for enhancing good governance in the context of implementing the objectives of the 2022-2026 roadmap, which would establish a measure that is more focused on achieving the desired impact and results for the benefit of male and female students. For this purpose, the Academy worked based on its work program approved by the Administrative Council for the December 2023 session. On examining various data and indicators, a regional performance effectiveness contract was signed between the Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports and the Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training in the Fez-Meknes region on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Ministry’s headquarters, which formed the basis for developing a series of performance effectiveness contracts at all administrative levels in the educational system. At the regional level, it is based on the strategic objectives of reform.
The effectiveness contracts that were signed between the Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Fez-Meknes region, the Regional Director, and the Regional Directors, after a series of consultations and negotiations, specify the obligations related to all parties in order to activate the constitutional principle of linking responsibility to accountability.
The effectiveness contracts between the Academy and the regional directorates cover a period of three years, and are tracked through twenty strategic indicators that are closely related to the core concerns of educational institutions, including success in exams, combating school dropout, and continuous certification training, which will lead to strengthening the role of the Academy’s Administrative Council.
This mechanism aims to establish a management pattern based on establishing a series of integrated and integrated responsibilities at multiple levels, including what is between the level of the Regional Academy of Education and Training and between the regional directorates, and between
Regional directorates and educational institutions within the framework of the merged institution project, which will enable the strengthening of advanced regionalization.
