The court handed down a total of 12 years of effective imprisonment to the accused, which includes two women and three young men, four of whom are being held in custody. The court also imposed varying financial fines on each defendant based on their charges, while acquitting one woman who was also under investigation in this case.
The court convicted the leader of the network, who previously headed the “Aman for Sustainable Development” organization, to four years in prison and a financial fine of 40,000 dirhams. The same sentence was applied to the treasurer of the aforementioned organization.
Additionally, one member of the network was sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of 20,000 dirhams, while the second and third suspects received one-year prison sentences along with fines of 10,000 dirhams each.
