The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) announced on Tuesday the launch of the schooling verification process for children benefiting from services for the 2024-2025 academic year. This operation aims to verify the eligibility of school-age children for family allowances, survivor pensions, and mandatory health insurance.
The target groups for this operation include:
- Children benefiting from family allowances aged 12 to 21 years
- Children benefiting from survivor pensions aged 16 to 21 years
- Beneficiaries of mandatory health insurance aged 21 to 26 years
To verify the schooling status of beneficiary children, the CNSS uses a digital system based on electronic information exchange with relevant partner administrations and institutions. For children whose schooling could not be verified through this electronic exchange, their parents and guardians are required to submit schooling certificates within one month through the TAAWIDATY service.
Parents and guardians concerned must mention their registration numbers on the submitted schooling certificates to ensure processing. It is noteworthy that if the required certificates are not submitted to the CNSS within the specified deadlines, the fund will be obliged to suspend the right to the aforementioned benefits in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
This initiative is part of the CNSS’s efforts to improve its services and ensure fair access to social benefits and services. It also aims to simplify and expedite administrative procedures through the adoption of digital solutions and electronic information exchange.
The CNSS emphasizes the importance of timely submission of required documents to avoid any interruption in benefits. This process reflects the organization’s commitment to modernizing its operations and ensuring the continued support of eligible beneficiaries while maintaining the integrity of the social security system.
