On Wednesday, the Criminal Chamber of the Appeals Court in Fes announced the postponement of the trial for defendants involved in the case known as the baby trafficking network and the manipulation of public health services.

The new hearing date has been set for November 20, 2024, to allow for the completion of legal proceedings against several defendants who were absent from the session.

A total of 34 individuals are being prosecuted in this case, including two doctors and two nurses, along with several health professionals and intermediaries in the health sector.

Additionally, 17 security personnel working in public hospitals in Fes, including Hassan II University Hospital, El Ghassani Regional Hospital, and Ibn Khateeb Hospital, are implicated.
