Abdelatif Hammouchi, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, continues his visit to the United Arab Emirates, taking place from September 23 to 26, with the aim of enhancing security cooperation between the two countries.
On the third day of his visit, Hammouchi toured the Criminal Security Sector of the Abu Dhabi Police, where he reviewed the Special Patrols Department and familiarized himself with the latest vehicles used for public safety and criminal police operations.
He was also presented with a demonstration of the “smart patrols,” which are four-wheel-drive vehicles equipped with advanced technological applications, showcasing the security innovations in the UAE.
Hammouchi conducted a field visit to the Special Tasks Sector, where he received explanations about the equipment used by these security units, which include securing sensitive facilities and protecting high-profile individuals.
The visit featured a showcase of mobile operations rooms and helicopters designated for crisis intervention, highlighting the preparedness of special forces to tackle security challenges.
Additionally, the visit included the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation and developing professional capacities in shared areas of interest.
Discussions with national intelligence officials focused on exchanging expertise and information.
