The Fes-Meknes Football League in Turmoil: Calls for an Electoral General Assembly

The Fes-Meknes Football League is currently experiencing intense conflicts among its board members, particularly with the league president, who has not convened any ordinary general assembly since his election, in accordance with the applicable laws. According to a source from “Fes News,” the situation within the league has worsened with the emergence of several violations discussed during a recent communication meeting held in Fes, attended by various technical staff and officials from the teams affiliated with the league from different cities in the region.

The source indicated that participants in the meeting expressed their dissatisfaction with the absence of an administrative office to receive correspondence, the weak communication with the teams, and the chaotic management limited to just three or four individuals. The source further noted the complete lack of activation of the league’s parallel committees, along with a clear randomness in scheduling matches. During the meeting, demands were also raised for a thorough investigation into the league’s finances.

The communication meeting concluded with a call to hold further meetings aimed at forming a corrective committee responsible for communicating with the relevant authorities. It was also agreed upon the necessity of uniting the affected parties and taking escalatory steps against the current president, whose term has expired, rendering him legally illegitimate to remain in his position. Participants called, according to the source, for an electoral general assembly to be held before the start of the season, emphasizing the need to apply the law in determining its date and to notify the teams under the league’s umbrella within the legal timeframe.

Note: It is worth mentioning that the newspaper attempted to contact the president, but the lack of information about him prevented us from obtaining a statement to express his viewpoint on the matter.
