Alstom’s Ambition
Alstom, a French company, is aiming to win a deal to supply Morocco with 18 new trains. Months ago, its branch in Spain was tasked with submitting a proposal for the competitive bidding process initiated by the Kingdom.
Morocco’s Plan
Morocco plans to purchase 18 high-speed trains to operate on the new Al Boraq line connecting Kenitra and Marrakech. In this context, we can expect Morocco to be interested in acquiring the latest Alstom TGV M trains (pictured) that will be officially launched in 2025.
