Fez – Residents of the Al-Bourniyat and Al-Wifaq areas in the city of Fez have expressed their strong dissatisfaction with the continued power outage of the public lighting poles on the road connecting the Ninth Security District to Al-Wifaq neighborhood, which has persisted for more than three months.
In a letter received by “Fez News,” residents reported that more than six consecutive lamps are out of order, turning the road into a hotspot of complete darkness, which puts their children at risk, especially in the absence of sufficient lighting.
Residents appealed to the competent and concerned authorities to urgently intervene to repair the malfunctions and restore lighting to the road, in order to preserve the safety of pedestrians and prevent potential accidents or crimes in the area.
Residents confirmed that they had previously submitted complaints to the concerned authorities, but to no avail, which prompted them to turn to local media to highlight their suffering and demand immediate intervention.
