An informed security source told “Fes News” that several individuals were arrested in the city of Fez this week on suspicion of their involvement in cases of snatching and armed robbery.
According to the same source, the arrests came following various complaints received by the security services regarding citizens being subjected to assaults and the theft of their phones and personal belongings, especially in some densely populated neighborhoods.
The detainees have been placed in custody pending investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, awaiting their presentation before the judiciary.
These security operations come within the framework of the continuous efforts made by security personnel in Fez to combat crime and enhance citizens’ sense of security.
