Fes News has received photos and on-the-ground information via WhatsApp, showing the deteriorating condition of garbage bins in the Group of Dahya Dlala Zouaga and Al-Anbara neighborhoods in Fes.
Several community leaders have expressed their surprise at the exclusion of certain neighborhoods in Fes from the garbage bin renewal process.
A local source confirmed that the bins currently available in these neighborhoods are in poor condition, posing environmental and health risks to the residents, particularly with rising temperatures and increasing household waste.
Residents and civil society actors are urging the relevant authorities to take immediate action to replace these worn-out bins and to include these neighborhoods in the infrastructure improvement program for cleanliness. This would ensure the health and environmental safety of the residents while preserving the city’s aesthetic appeal.
