In this context, the President of the Sefrou Municipality, Rachid Ahmed Cherif, emphasized that the city of Sefrou is an integral part of this dynamic process, working on enhancing its infrastructure and readiness to welcome visitors for the “World Cup.”
The municipal official pointed out that all provinces within the Fes-Meknes region are involved in the preparations, as this event presents an opportunity to boost the region’s prominence and showcase its potential. He added that Sefrou, with its strategic location and rich cultural and touristic value, is preparing to receive visitors who will explore the region during the global championship.
The ongoing projects include infrastructure modernization efforts, such as road and public facility upgrades, improvements to tourist spaces, and investments in hotel infrastructure to ensure the city is fully equipped to host fans. Additionally, a public space with giant screens is being set up, allowing residents to watch the matches in a festive atmosphere that aligns with the national enthusiasm surrounding the tournament.
