The Ministry of Health of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that 921 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory since the resumption of Israeli bombardments on March 18, including 25 in the last 24 hours.
The ministry added in a statement that the total death toll since the start of the war, triggered by the Hamas attack on Israeli soil on October 7, 2023, has now reached 50,277 deaths in the Gaza Strip.
This announcement comes amid the continued military escalation in the Gaza Strip and growing international concerns about the worsening humanitarian situation in the besieged territory.
