Amid growing anticipation within Morocco’s café and restaurant sector regarding the proposed regulatory bill, the National Federation of Café and Restaurant Owners has announced the launch of a digital platform. This initiative allows professionals from various regions to voice their opinions and provide feedback, following a participatory approach aimed at involving all stakeholders in shaping the legislation.
The federation also revealed the formation of a monitoring committee, composed of representatives from different regions across the country, to ensure a comprehensive review of the bill’s provisions and incorporate all necessary amendments.
These initiatives coincide with the finalization of the bill, which was a key topic of discussion during the fifth extraordinary session of the National Council, recently held in Marrakech.
The meeting featured extensive deliberations among council members, who proposed amendments to certain provisions to better safeguard the interests of industry professionals and address their concerns.
