Many residents of Fez have expressed their satisfaction with these reforms, with one citizen saying: “We are happy with the reforms… the city is finally changing and not forgotten, and we are even proud of the speed of the works,” referring to the transformations the city is undergoing in preparation for the global sporting event.
These projects include road reconstruction, improving public lighting, developing sports spaces, and enhancing transportation, as part of a vision to make Fez a more modern and attractive destination. The speed of completion of these works reflects the authorities’ commitment to providing advanced infrastructure that meets international standards, reinforcing Morocco’s position as a destination capable of hosting major events.
