BLS International, a company specialized in providing consular and visa services, announced new amendments starting February 24 at its Rabat center, aimed at simplifying the process of renewing Schengen visas for a range of categories, the new amendments allow applicants to submit their applications without the need to book a prior appointment, subject to specific conditions.
The most important new amendments include:
For one-year visa holders: People who have received a one-year visa in the last four years will be able to apply for visa renewal without the need for an appointment, Monday through Thursday between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., provided a copy of the previous visa is provided.
For visa holders of three years or more: Holders of Schengen visas valid for three years or more, issued in the same period, must submit their applications on Fridays only between 8:00 and 10:00 am, according to the established quota system, and must provide a copy of the previous visa.
For holders of visas of two years or more: People with visas valid for two years or more can submit their applications without prior appointment from Monday through Thursday between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with a copy of the previous visa attached.
The amendments also include facilities for students wishing to renew their study visas, as they can submit their applications directly at the center without prior appointment, within the daily quota. Students who have booked appointments online are also allowed to submit their ready-made files directly at the center.
Despite these facilities, BLS International will still offer the option to book appointments online via its official website for those who prefer to do so or do not fall into the categories benefiting from the new procedures.
These amendments aim to facilitate consular procedures and provide greater flexibility for applicants to renew Schengen visas in Morocco, contributing to improving service and speeding up procedures.
