The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform has announced that the working hours of public administrations, public institutions and local authorities will be modified for the holy month of Ramadan 2025.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, a continuous working time, which extends from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, will be adopted from Monday through Friday throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Employees will be given the necessary facilities to perform Friday prayers, as part of measures aimed at taking into account the peculiarities of this holy month and providing the appropriate conditions for employees to perform their prayers.
These amendments come within the framework of the ministry’s consideration of the peculiarities of Ramadan, as it seeks to strike a balance between performing job duties and enabling employees to practice their religious rituals during this holy month.
