French President Emmanuel Macron has extended an official invitation to King Mohammed VI to attend the Agriculture Show to be held in Paris from February 22 to March 2, 2025, according to Le Monde newspaper.
This invitation comes in the context of strengthening the distinguished partnership between the two countries, which has been particularly enhanced since France’s recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara, culminating in the official visit made by Macron to Morocco last October.
Le Monde mentioned that an important Moroccan delegation will arrive in Paris, noting that the King “has not yet responded to the invitation from the Élysée Palace, but if his official visit is confirmed, it will be his first to France since 2018.”
For the first time since its founding, the International Agriculture Show in France, which will be held from February 22 to March 2 next in Paris, is putting a foreign country in the spotlight, namely Morocco, as announced by the organizers on Tuesday.
Morocco will attend this major exhibition through a central pavilion of 476 square meters, where Moroccan local products with quality labels, agricultural products reflecting the richness and diversity of this sector, and products produced by cooperatives with long-standing expertise will be displayed.
The Moroccan official also confirmed that the public will have the opportunity to rediscover other aspects of Moroccan authenticity and specificity, through cultural and artistic performances, and tasting of Moroccan products and dishes.
