As part of efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure in the region, the actual construction works for the Taghat Primary School project in the Fes Regional Directorate began this morning, December 28, 2024, following a visit by Mr. Mohamed Saad Barada, Minister of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports, on Friday, December 6, 2024.
During that visit, the Minister officially launched the project, where he was briefed on the project’s details, its financial cost, the total area allocated for it, and the number of teaching and administrative staff who will be responsible for overseeing the students at this new educational institution.
Today, the actual works have commenced on-site, with heavy machinery and necessary tools brought in to execute the project as per the approved plan. Basic construction materials have also been provided, as shown in the photo taken this morning.
This project is part of ongoing efforts to expand educational opportunities in the Fes region, aiming to encourage schooling and reduce dropout rates. It will provide students with a modern learning environment, contributing to enhancing learning opportunities and ensuring equality for all.
