The Civil Retirees Organization of Morocco has issued an urgent call for participation in a protest scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025, in front of Parliament, starting at 11:00 AM. This call comes in response to the government’s decision to implement a comprehensive tax exemption affecting less than 4% of retirees’ pensions, which the organization considers a failed attempt to deceive more than 96% of this group.

- Pensions insufficient to cover basic expenses amid continuous price increases

- Frequent changes in pension systems causing instability in their lives

- Cancellation of the tax exemption and implementation of urgent pension increases proportional to the cost of living
