In a symbolic and powerful act of protest, workers and employees of Vectalia Safi, responding to a call issued by the labor unions under the General Union of Moroccan Workers (UGTM) and the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT), wore red armbands on November 4, 2024.
This protest aimed to express deep dissatisfaction and anger over the repeated delays in salary payments, which have placed immense strain on workers and their families. The act also highlighted the silence and non-compliance of the administration regarding the scheduled disbursement of wages.
