The Municipality of Meknes has announced the launch of a new project aimed at enhancing security in the city through the installation of a comprehensive surveillance camera system in streets and public areas. This initiative is part of efforts to improve protection levels and contribute to the organization of public spaces.
The project is expected to include a comprehensive technical study and monitoring of the system’s implementation, with the total cost estimated at 408,000 MAD, including taxes. This system represents a step forward in utilizing technology to bolster security and monitor vital areas, ensuring the safety of both residents and visitors.
The tender for this project will open on December 19, 2024, at the municipality’s headquarters, with a reminder for all submissions to be made through the public procurement portal in accordance with current legal procedures.
